i started with poe into the arpg genre ...it was and still is insane without using a guide but when i tried diablo 4 it just felt lackluster and boring by comparison in character progression and creativity so i always find myself going back to poe where there is endless combinations of gear / ability and support gems mixed with the passive tree and ascendancy to even further alter your uniqueness and playstyle

lol a prime demon like Litlith can’t really die , hence why they get thrown into vessels / soul stones etc , she will be back , I do think it would of been quite the twist if you could choose to side with her or she actually wins and continues on with her plan then leads into the expansion with the return of Meph, would of created quite the war and divide , and tbh it would of been a nice change of pain then create a cool interesting anti hero and kill it off

Elias is a stupid fool , i wouldnt be concerned about the prime evils , he should have wondered what the high heavens are up too, since they closed their gates and it seems 2 newly born angels are about to rise , one is malthaels replacement and the other might be tyraels replacement , the second or third expansion of diablo will have heaven open its gates and attack

A few facts are a bit wrong. Adria didn't create the black soul stone, Zoltun Kulle did. In ALL of the games Mephisto has always been 10 steps ahead of your hero. Yes, even his defeat in II was planned, come on...he didn't even put up a real fight hes a prime evil and it should have been suspicious as to how quickly he went down. He also wasn't trying to convince Neyrelle to imprison Lilith, yes he said it but he offers himself to Neyrelle, straight up putting himself in position to be sealed. He wanted her to seal him in the stone. It was a get out of jail free card for him leaving you to deal with Lilith, not caring who makes it, you or her. Keep in mind everything that happens in IV went exactly as Mephisto hoped it would. He "saves" you for this purpose and Neyrelle was also chosen. Mephisto does even share a few details with alluding to the future.

I'm curious to know where Adria found Lucio's and Lilith's essence since we never fought them as players. Unless you count Ubers of Diablo 2 as a canon. (Yes. I was reading all the text in Diablo 1/2/3/4) Malthael wanted to purge all the demons and their corruption. Unfortunately, Nephalem and Sanctuary are part of demons and angels.

I am not good enough at arpg games to really get into poe I played it casually for about 2years and I never really made it past the early end game. Diablo has a deep lore, which I love, and is just complex enough that I can complete a season and get close enough to bis gear to complete a build before the end of it

So Inarius is just a typical divorced dad? Haha He really did live long enough to become the villian though. By the end Inarius would have sacrificed every human in sacturary for his absolution. No doubt, Lilith was prepared to sacrifice people too, but at least for her it was for the greater good, and the long term protection and empowerment of mankind. It hurt having to kill Litith at the end without a choice. However,if you consider that the player character had only ever heard a history written by Inarius their whole lives why wouldn't they blindly accept Lilith was entirely evil?

This game is not difficult. It is impossible. I needed 2 years to kill 2 from the ubers. And I will never understand the crafting or anything. Keep away from POE! IT is for nerds only. And I mean nerds, like you imagine nerds...

The inventory system alone is enough for me to never want to play this game.

Brilliant summary! I was quite miffed by Diablo4 story: Mephisto's "grand plan" sounds very much like a reash ploy just to have another sequel.
